One Planet

All of us belong to the Earth, this one tiny planet floating in the vast expanse of space. The Earth is our only home. Irrespective of race, religion, gender or nationality, all human beings and all non-human beings from the smallest fungi to the mightiest whale belong to and upon this planet. It is utterly unique and worth protecting. Not just for ourselves, but for everyone and everything that surrounds us, including all lifeforms and all generations yet to come.

All Beings

We humans have irrevocably altered this planet, heralding in a new geological time period known as the Anthropocene. We have altered biogeochemical flows, introduced microplastics to every imaginable corner of the Earth, and destabilized the Earth’s climate due to our economic dependence on fossil fuels. Yes, this is all true.

It is also true that we are capable of reversing our ways and ushering a new time period that is one of healing, interdependence, and generosity. Not just for humans, but for all beings. All the wild animals, birds, fishes, plants, and insects living in deserts, forests, lakes, oceans, and other ecosystems, even urban ones. And, our own species - who for the majority of our timeline, have lived within planetary boundaries. It may feel like an insurmountable goal but we can do it. We are not alone. Uniting with other individuals and communities, looking beyond what divides us, understanding that we live in interdependence with everyone and everything on this planet, we can harness our personal and our communities’ energy to protect All Beings, our habitats, and the ecosystem services we need for us all to thrive.

Deeply Resilient

As we unite to undo 500 years of social, environmental and climate harm, our goal is not just to energize pro-environmental action now but to manifest a post-growth vision of interdependence and joy-centered resilience. We forge this new path together in community, and with marginalized peoples everywhere. We partner with community organizations, faith leaders, and Indigenous knowledge holders and culture keepers. Together, we can redesign our societies and systems to thrive even in the face of deep uncertainty. Together, we can become Deeply Resilient.
