Christy Wilson-Mendenhall, Research Lead
Christy works with the Loka Initiative as the research lead and collaborating psychological scientist studying ecological emotions and coping methods to the environmental and climate crises. Building on her Ph.D. and postdoctoral research in affective science, Christy joined the Center for Healthy Minds, University of Wisconsin-Madison to advance interdisciplinary research focused on cultivating well-being and resilience. Christy lives in Madison with her husband and two kids. When not working on research, she likes to swim, read, and snuggle with her little ones.
