Nyagam Simon Wal, Project Assistant

Nyagam is a Junior studying conservation biology with certificates in environmental studies and global health. In her studies in conservation, she has had the pleasure of working with prairie plants and pollinators through a research lab on campus, with a focus on how plant communities respond to drought conditions. She also has experience in bird conservation and water science making her an informed advocate for the environment. Nyagam was born and raised in Minnesota and enjoys reading, going on nature walks and listening and talking about music in her free time. Through this position, Nyagam is excited to share her knowledge of the environment and its needs and foster connections between people and the environment!
